ABOUT A LEVEL PREPARATORY COURSE
The Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level, A Level) Examination is held each year (November/ December) in Singapore.
The A Level Certificate is being internationally recognized qualification, that can be used to apply for university education in most countries, worldwide.
The applications of all A level Private Candidates to apply/ take the examination are accepted based on certain criteria/conditions.
The GCE A level Course ( For Private Candidate) is intended to prepare students for their further study at foreign/ local universities.
Full Time ‘A’ Level Private Candidate School (Comes with Student Pass for International Students) – Local students need not apply for student pass.

- Direct entry to any of the 6 Government Universities (National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore University of Social Sciences)
- Pursue in any of the local/ overseas Universities
COURSE DURATION (FULL TIME)
- A level Preparatory Courses: 24 months course

- 1 teacher to 30 students
SCHOOL HOURS (MONDAY TO FRIDAY EXCEPT PUBLIC HOLIDAYS)
- 9am to 4pm, 1hr lunch Break ( Near Paya Lebar MRT)
A LEVEL COURSE ATTENDANCE CRITERIA (STUDENT PASS HOLDER)
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requires Student’s Pass holders to maintain an attendance of at least 90%. Students who attend at least 75% of lessons are eligible for a Certificate of Attendance.
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS
Preliminary Examinations will be held before the actual GCE ‘A’ Level examination period, around August/September of the same year.

A LEVEL PRIVATE SCHOOL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A Level Private Candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of 1 January in the year they are enrolling for the A level preparatory course.
- A Level Private Candidate must have at least 5 GCE O Level credits, including English, or have completed JC1 in a government/ private school, or have completed grade 10 or year 4 in middle school, in order to enroll into our A level Preparatory Course.
- To take H1 Maths in our A level Private School, students must have a credit in Maths at GCE O Level/ IGCSE or have taken this subject at JC1.
- To take H2 maths, students must have a credit in Additional Maths and Maths at GCE O Level, or have taken this subject at JC1.
- To take H2 science, students must have a credit in their chosen Science subject at GCE O Level/ IGCSE or have taken this subject at JC1.
- International students (Private A Level Candidate) are strongly advised to have English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS/TOEFL iBT score of 6.0/80 or equivalent.
