AEIS Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools:

The Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is a centralised admissions exercise conducted by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) around September/ October each year for new international students who wish to join the local mainstream primary and secondary schools in January of the following year. SAEIS will be conducted on February each year for international students who wish to join around April/ May of the same year. Students are advised to join the AEIS preparation course in AEIS Preparatory School.

Applicants who pass the examination which assesses their English literacy, numeracy and reasoning abilities, will be placed in a suitable school. Government School placement will be based on applicant’s test performance and declared local residential address as well as the school vacancies available.

Applicants should be familiar with the English and Mathematics syllabi of the level preceding the one they are applying for. E.g. Applicants applying for Primary 5 should be familiar with Primary 4 Syllabi.

For your child to fit the required standards they need to fully master the AEIS Math and English syllabus before attempting the AEIS Examination. With the undivided attention paid to your child during these AEIS Preparatory Course study sessions, the AEIS teachers will be able to identify and focus on the areas of study in which your child requires more help in and help reinforce their learning during AEIS Preparation Course.

It is highly recommended to place your child in a AEIS Preparatory School in Singapore to help and guide your child to perform better in the upcoming AEIS exam.
