Tutor’s Teaching Background

I graduated from River Valley High School in 2025 with strong academic results in the A levels, including A in H1 General Paper, H2 Chemistry, H2 Biology, and H2 Economics, as well as a B in H2 Mathematics. In particular, I have consistently achieved A grades in H1 General Paper and H2 Economics throughout JC, including for all school examinations, prelims, and the A Levels. While I am new to formal tuition teaching, I have extensive experience mentoring friends and juniors in GP and Economics, guiding them through essay planning, comprehension techniques and developing strong arguments. Through my own academic journey, I have developed and refined a set of effective GP/Econs notes, frameworks, and writing methods based on continuous practice and teacher feedback, which I hope to pass on to tutees in a clear and approachable manner. As a recent student myself, I am highly familiar with the latest syllabus requirements and understand the common difficulties students face; in particular, crafting nuanced arguments and improving clarity in writing. I aim to create engaging and supportive lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and pace.
