Tutor’s Teaching Background

Since secondary school, I have taught many classmates for chemistry and e math, where some managed to get from failing to B3s. My teaching style would be getting to know how students understand their content and explaining it with relatable anecdotes to form a more coherent picture of the subject. Simultaneously, I tend to test their comprehension rather than memorisation, showing them exactly what went wrong and then offering in-depth suggestions on how to move forward. Progress tracking is about monitoring how confident they are in tackling questions without guidance, and how well they understand each concept, rather than just getting the answer right.
