Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am currently a Year 4 Medical Student in NTU LKC School of Medicine, having graduated from NUS High School of Mathematics with High Distinction in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English together with an Honours in Biology. I was also the top PSLE student in Chongzheng Primary School with aggregate score of 272. With my extensive experience in the Singapore education system, I have developed a meticulous and systematic approach to studying. In particular, I would focus on the student's fundamentals before patiently guiding him/her through the key concepts necessary for the examinations. In terms of my teaching style, I believe in guiding students through questions and concepts before slowly letting them attempt on their own. Before starting with each student, I like to ask about what their preference for each lesson to be like and will constantly adjust to meet their needs. It’s important to me that every student’s need is met especially when it comes to private, 1 on 1 tutoring.
