Parent prefers to engage an Experienced Full Time Piano Instructor for this assignment.

Also I want teacher to speak in English

My main goal is for my child to learn how to read music and play the piano by reading the sheet music, rather than simply memorising pieces and playing them from memory.

She has been taking piano lessons at Aureus for about a year, but I feel that she is mostly memorising the pieces rather than actually learning to read and play from the score, even though the pieces are quite simple.

I’m looking for a teacher who can build her foundation properly, including sight-reading, understanding notes and rhythm, basic music theory, and piano technique, so that she can gradually become able to read and play music independently.

Do indicate your Piano teaching experience, all your certifications for Piano, years of experiences teaching in music school(s) if any ( Do indicate name of school(s) if possible)/ government school(s) if any, orchestra, performance, school band, CCA etc.

You can also send audio of your piano playing and whatsapp to 8298 7978. We will forward to parents as part of your music resume.
