Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a Raffles Institution graduate with a strong academic foundation and a genuine interest in teaching. While I do not yet have formal private tuition experience, I have relevant teaching exposure through the RI Mentoring Programme and volunteering with TYA, where I tutored and guided primary school students. Through these experiences, I learned how to explain concepts clearly, adjust my teaching to different learning speeds, and remain patient with students who struggle. I focus on helping students understand the reasons behind concepts rather than relying on memorisation. I am committed to building students’ confidence, strengthening their fundamentals, and supporting steady academic improvement.
