Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have consistently scored A grades for my Chinese exams, including A for my PSLE and A1 for my O-Levels, including distinction for my oral component. I am also currently pursuing a diploma in Chinese Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, specializing in the education track.

I am currently tutoring a primary 2 boy Chinese, with good reviews from the student and parents. I have also tutored 2 of my peers during secondary school for their O-Levels Chinese, helping to answer any questions they had. I have also taught one primary 2 class Chinese for CDAC, with good reviews from the teachers there. 

Furthermore, I have helped the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) create and teach Chinese lessons for primary school students, highlighting my familiarity with the syllabus. My Chinese essays were also featured in my secondary school's outstanding essay compilation book, highlighting my Chinese writing abilities.

I am effectively bilingual, having scored A grades for both my Chinese and English during PSLE and O-levels, and my experiences in lesson planning will also help me plan effective lessons for my students. I will also use a variety of tools (online/offline) to invoke interest in the subject for the student, and go above and beyond to help them achieve better grades.
