Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a patient, responsible and approachable tutor who is passionate about helping primary and secondary school students in Mathematics and Principle of Accounts. I focus on simplifying concepts, using step by step explanations and adding on real world examples to better comprehend. I tailor my teaching to the student learning style and pace as well as emphasises on extra practices and consistency to help students improve their subject effectively.
.I have two teaching experience in two tuition centres where i guided approximately 10 students in Math and Principle of Accounts. Through this experiences, i have developed the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching method to suit different needs.

Academically, I achieved a A1 in Principle of Accounts and was placed on the director list during my Diploma in Accountancy, recognising my academic performance and consistency.
My students showed a gradually improvement from getting a AL7 to AL3 for Math and C6 to A2 for Principle of Accounts. (Taught 10 POA students last year with all having significant improvements (helped about 10 students from failing with 30-40/100 in prelims to at least A2 in n/olevels)

I am able to build a strong rapport with my students, creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions when they are lost. I am patient and attentive to each student progress and i will ensure constant practice using past exam papers and assessment books like math boosters to help them improve efficiently. I am also familiar with the question types and technique to tackle the questions allowing me to better prepare my students for exams.
