Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), with experience providing private tuition to Primary and Secondary school students. I have experience teaching Primary School Mathematics and Lower Secondary Mathematics and Science. My lessons focus on building strong foundations, simplifying complex concepts, and helping students develop confidence in tackling examination questions. I tailor my teaching approach to each student's learning pace and areas of weakness. This includes providing step-by-step explanations, guiding students through problem-solving techniques, reviewing school examination papers, and preparing additional practice worksheets to reinforce their understanding. I also provide regular lesson updates to parents, highlighting the topics covered, their child's progress, and areas requiring further improvement. My goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of the subjects rather than simply memorising methods, allowing them to become more confident and independent learners.
