Tutor’s Teaching Background

Tutoring experience: 9 years of 1-1 tutoring, 4 years at tuition centres.  Brief description of my experience: I specialise in teaching primary English and Maths. I teach both privately (1-1) and at tuition centres (up to class size of 6). I believe in holistic learning; other than guiding students on academic knowledge, teaching them useful study skills and answering techniques will benefit them as well. Achievements: Mathematics: P4 student that I tutored for half year improved from single digit points for WA2 to 56 points for SA2. P6 special needs student that I tutored for 1.5 years improved from borderline fail to AL6 for PSLE. Student that I tutored from P4 to P6 achieved A* (previous grading system) for PSLE.
