Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. While I may not have formal experience in a tuition center or MOE school, I have had significant experience mentoring and teaching in other capacities. I personally guided two secondary school students through their O levels, and they have both proceeded to enter NJC and NYJC.  In my professional role as a research mentor in an oncology genetics lab, I have also mentored three polytechnic students and two junior college students through their laboratory internships.  I hold a degree in life sciences and scored a perfect 90 rank points for my A levels at Hwa Chong Junior College. I am an all-rounder in academics, with a proficiency in mathematics and sciences. I am passionate about helping students with their education, sharing effective study strategies, and building their confidence. Beyond academics, I am a music lover with a Grade 8 piano certification. As I embark on my journey as a private tutor, I hope to be given the opportunity to help students excel and reach their full potential.
