Tutor’s Teaching Background

I scored 1570 for SATs in 2023 and have up-to-date notes and practice papers for the SATs. I favour a teaching style that's more nurturing and patient, to allow for space for the tutee to understand concepts rather than purely memorising content! This allows the tutee to be able to apply similar concepts to different questions even when the questions seem unfamiliar. This is especially important for the SATs which are more technique based rather than content based, for the English section. For the Math section, I can provide practice questions and feedback for content. As a tutor, I will be able to provide the student with notes, teaching materials as well as practice papers. I will be able to mark the students' practice papers and return them within 24 hours with feedback and comments, and will be available to answer questions most times of the day.
