Tutor’s Teaching Background

Preference: Online Current Students (Online Lessons): • JC1 H2 Chem • JC2 H2 Chem • RP Y1 Bio/Chem • O Level Sec 3 G3 Combined Chemistry • O Level Sec 4 Combined Bio/Chem Online Teaching Method: Lessons are conducted in Google Meet, with screen sharing for question paper PDFs that we'll go through together with annotations to explain concepts. After 3 lessons, I will create a personalised GPT for the student that contains 3 modes: Learn, Practice, and Retain. This GPT is grounded based on my teaching style, the student's areas for improvements to provide a more personalised experience for the student to learn effectively. Current Qualifications NUS: Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy): First Class Honours, with Dean's List in Y3S2 A Levels: Rank points 87.5 • H2 Biology, Chemistry, and Econs: A • H1 GP: A Tired of seeing your child struggle with their upcoming exams? Most tutors would blindly drill past-year papers, but I don't rely on teaching blind memorisation to scrape through their exams. Instead, I convert content-heavy topics into simple, interconnected concepts (just like the MCU). That way, the student doesn't need to memorise but start understanding and then applying what they learnt to answer questions effectively. My 1.5/2-hour session plan: • First 30 minutes: Active recall to build on the foundations of the previous session Next 1-1.5 hours: Apply the 'MCU Method' to map concepts and answer prelims and TYS questions • For every student, I provide personalised review notes and a custom Notion dashboard so you can track your progress at every step.
