Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have excellent verbal and written communication skills and I am a friendly, caring and confident teacher. I strive to form a good relationship with my students and their parents so as to understand any difficulties my students are facing in order to boost their confidence and support home learning as well.

I have 4 years of experience working with students aged 3 to 6 years old as the teacher-in-charge of full sized classes. I have tutored Primary 2 students in English, Mathematics and Science.

My students have done well in their overall academic as well as holistic growth. They are able to hit all their milestones for their age and many have excelled beyond what they were expected to achieve. Most importantly, my students have the zeal to learn and are inquisitive and mindful learners.

I am a good listener; one that seeks to understand any learning difficulties the students are facing.

I am a problem solver; one that finds ways to create differentiated learning activities to teach students at their appropriate learning abilities.

I have determination - to have faith in my students and will do my very best to improve my students' understanding of the subject.
