My son faces learning difficulties in school and due to this, we discussed it with his school and got the approval to switch from Chinese to Malay. We speak predominantly English at home. I need a tutor to help familiarise my son with the Malay language as his grasp of it is inadequate. He needs structure to catch up.

My son just switched to Malay from Chinese as he has learning difficulties in school. In consultation with the school, we decided to switch him. His command of the Malay language is mediocre and he would need someone very patient and able to coach him. I understand he will need time and am ok with that. The more important thing is the tutor is able to handle him.
