currently in Junior 1 at a SPED school. He has global developmental delays and autism (Level 1), and has some basic understanding of Chinese from preschool.
junior 1 in a sped school so they do not have formal chinese lessons. As mentioned, I am not looking for academic teaching, but someone to engage with my child in Mandarin. I want him to be able to at least converse in Mandarin.
The focus is on spoken Mandarin through songs, play, games, stories, and interaction (no academic syllabus). The tutor should be patient and able to engage young children with special needs.
Do indicate your certification and experience in teaching special needs students, ie type of condition, schools etc.
