1 We are a Chinese-speaking family, and our child primarily communicates in Mandarin at home.
2 Student having grown up in Singapore, he has basic English reading skills and performs reasonably well in school. However, there is room for improvement in English.
3 We are particularly looking to strengthen his grammar and writing abilities, as these are currently his weaker areas.
4 He is also a rather introverted child, so we are looking for a tutor who is patient and firm, able to engage him in a gentle, encouraging manner.
5 We would like the tutor to assign sufficient homework for consistent practice between lessons and to provide regular updates to parents regarding the child's progress and assignments.
