My child just transfer from international school to local school. The Chinese class is quite very difficult for her as there is no translation in English as what they are studying last time.
She needs to have a good foundation for reading, speaking and to cope up to everyday mother tongue. The tuition outside is by the book but we need her to fully understand the basic, how to use it and guide here thoroughly.
