Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have a year of experience of tutoring, having tutored some overseas student IGCSE English syllabus and Singaporean students, hence I prefer to teach English, having scored constant As throughout school. I am familiar with the MOE syllabus. I have taught two students for a year from overseas schools and three from Singapore under the PSLE and O Levels syllabus. I believe in strengthening the fundamentals of concepts and continuous practice in order for the student to grasp the idea clearly and will be able to apply the same concepts in all questions. I will structure my lessons according to the student's learning styles and provide my own resources, notes and tips to share. I think discussing with the student and the student's parents is the top priority, to understand the student's learning styles better, I am able to prepare practices and notes in advance to do during class, or provide my own pratices to do as homework and go through during lesson, depending on what the student wants. The lessons will be attuned depending on which method they learn best (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). Online only please
