Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have more than 15 years experience of tutoring my own 3 children from k1 through primary school years. My eldest son is now 21, second son is 18 and youngest daughter is now 15. I taught them personally for all subjects and they had no tuitions. They did well for psle and entered IP programs. Currently , I am tutoring a P5 boy in his mathematics and Chinese. I would love to use my tutoring experience of my own children to be able to be a blessing to other children as well. I had a Bachelor Degree in Science in Real Estate (Second Upper Honours) and graduated in 1998. During my University years, I provided tuitions to 5 students ( primary to secondary) and I love teaching and imparting knowledge to the young ones. It brought me great satisfaction and joy to witness the progress of their studies, especially when I saw their improved efforts and attitudes towards learning.  I left my corporate work 7 years ago to personally coach and tutor my youngest daughter when she was in Primary 1. She did well for psle and now continues with the great learning attitude into secondary school years. She now in IP program and continues to do well in secondary 3 independently.  I would love to return to the tutoring profession and hope to contribute again in helping our younger generation to find their passion for learning. Self directed learning is really important and starting them from young is key.
