Tutor’s Teaching Background

Rates are negotiable due to lower and upper primary (and subjects), and experience. Tutoring Experience (in years): More than 3 years in Primary math Taught students (P1-P6) from: Lian Hua Primary Corporation Primary Jurong West Primary Shuqun Primary Lakeside Primary Westwood Primary Australian International School Singapore (Year 4-5) Stamford American International School (AEIS Preparation) Teaching Methodology: Provides own curated notes/practices, assessment book, past year exam papers. I usually emphasise the most on the foundation and application of math concepts; prioritise long- term growth > short-term results; place a strong emphasis on preparing adequately for PSLE. Took mostly students (P4-P6) who failed Math to scoring decent passes in 3-6months time. AL7/8 to AL6. A few students also feedback how they enjoyed the process of understanding that math concepts are all interrelated, and practiced how they can apply them in different questions. Students have also shown improvements in their foundation, as feedback from parents and even their school teachers.
