Tutor’s Teaching Background

No formal tuition experience in terms of centres/school teaching experience, but I've had a lot of 1-to-1 sessions with friends, schoolmates, and "informal" peer assisted learning (PAL) sessions where I try to explain the concepts better. 

Usually, for math concepts and english creative writing, I try to use unorthodox ideas to relate to the student so that they can see it in a different light, as compared to teachers under MOE. It helps that this is what I do for a living as well, where I have to write articles to reach a demographic who's not stereotypically interested (I write about mortgage/property content to a young audience).

Furthermore, given that I write articles for a living, my #1 intention is engagement and easy reading for readers. This is a skill that I can assist with students, should your child need it.
