Tutor’s Teaching Background

To teach: Math Academic Background: I graduated from the School of Science and Technology with distinctions in multiple O-Level subjects, including Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry, Pure Electronics, and English. I continued my studies at Anglo-Chinese Junior College, where I attained distinctions in A-Level Mathematics and General Paper, further strengthening both my quantitative and language skills. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) at Nanyang Technological University. With a strong and well-rounded academic foundation in Mathematics, English, and the sciences, I am confident in my ability to effectively tutor students across primary and secondary levels in all three areas. Tutoring Experience: I have approximately one year of tutoring experience, teaching students at both the primary and secondary levels. My experience spans Mathematics and Sciences. For Primary School, I have taught * One Primary 4 student (Mathematics Band 3 to Band 1) * One Primary 6 student (Mathematics AL6 to AL2 and Sciences AL5 to AL2) This has given me experience with both foundational concepts as well as exam-oriented preparation for PSLE. Having worked with students of varying learning abilities, I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s pace and learning style. I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving answering techniques, and helping students develop confidence across all subjects. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to ensure they gain a clear understanding of concepts and become more independent learners.
