Tutor’s Teaching Background

Although I do not have formal teaching experience or a professional teaching background, I have always enjoyed helping my friends and classmates with questions or topics they find difficult to understand. Through these experiences, I have developed patience and the ability to explain concepts in a clear and simple way. Mathematics and Chinese are my stronger subjects. For my 2015 PSLE, I achieved an aggregate score of 155, with a Grade C in Mathematics and Grade 2 in Foundation Chinese. I progressed to the Normal Academic stream in secondary school, where I was given the opportunity to take GCE O-Level Mathematics and obtained a D7. For Normal Academic Chinese, I achieved a B3. I am keen in helping students to understand and learn better in topics or subjects they are struggling in. As a new tutor, I am open to take in any feedback from parents and student to improve my teaching and bonding with the student to make a better learning experience for them.
