Tutor’s Teaching Background

  Qualifications:  -Degree in Music with Honours (in piano performance) from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (UK)  -LRSM in piano performance  -ABRSM grade 8 theory  -also went through O levels MEP (music elective programme) and A level H2 music    Experience: full time teacher for over 10 years in teaching piano, MEP/ O level music, IGCSE and IB music tuition.    Background: I started learning piano at the age of 5, and has continued to study beyond what is required of the ABRSM syllabus. I took up music as a subject in secondary school as well as in junior college (MEP and H2 Music). After my A levels, I auditioned for and was accepted by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a scholarship. During this time I also achieved my LRSM in piano performance before flying to the UK. I studied under renowned British pianists Simon Nicholls and Mark Bebbington. Home studio if applicable: 10 mins walk from Ang Mo Kio MRT and AMK Interchange, fully sheltered route. Lessons will held on a grand piano.
