Tutor’s Teaching Background

I hold the LRSM in Piano Performance from the Royal Schools of Music and the LTCL in Piano Teaching from Trinity College London. With almost 25 years of teaching experience in some of Singapore’s leading music schools, I have had the privilege of mentoring hundreds of students—from preschool children to senior adults, complete beginners to advanced musicians, including diploma candidates and professional adults.

Throughout my career, I have remained actively involved as both a performer and educator, performing in concerts, providing piano accompaniment, and, above all, inspiring a genuine love and appreciation for music in every student I teach.

Over the years, I have earned a reputation as one of Singapore’s highly sought-after piano teachers. Many of my students have achieved outstanding examination results, while several have gone on to pursue successful careers as piano teachers and music educators themselves.

My lessons provide a well-rounded musical foundation, covering classical piano(gr 1 to diploma) , music theory (gr 1 to gr8) , leisure playing, contemporary music, film soundtracks, pop music, and Japanese anime repertoire. Students are encouraged to develop both technical excellence and musical enjoyment across a wide range of styles.
