Hi there! I am Ryan, a penultimate mechanical engineering undergrad at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I am passionate about the STEM field and an advocate for lifelong learning. I was from NA stream in secondary school and took foundation math in primary school, hence I am aware of the academic challenges faced. I have worked with young children as well as teenagers. These include working as a facilitator at the Science Centre as well as a ground responsive force officer in the Singapore Police Force during my stint in national service. I would be grateful for an opportunity to tutor and impart knowledge, especially mathematics, to prospective tutees.

I have a diploma in Veterinary Bioscience from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and have been working as a part-time vet nurse for 2 years (ongoing). I am patient, responsible, and someone who takes my work seriously. I like to simplify concepts using easy-to-understand analogies to bring across a point. I think teaching is all about decomposing a complex problem into smaller ones so it is manageable to tackle.
