Tutor’s Teaching Background

Many students struggle with weak GP foundations, unclear feedback, and lessons that don’t translate into exam performance. My coaching is designed to close these gaps quickly and systematically. I’m a PhD student in Communications and former MOE teacher with 8 years of GP coaching experience. I focus on strengthening both language and content mastery, starting with diagnosing and rebuilding core foundations so students stop feeling “lost” in GP. Lesson time is used for targeted teaching, while timed practices are done outside class to maximise learning. Students receive direct, prompt, and actionable feedback so they know exactly what to improve in the short and long term. All materials are prepared and adapted to the H1 8881 syllabus. While I understand the preference for in‑person lessons, I also offer virtual sessions. The learning experience is equivalent, and all exam‑related work remains pen‑and‑paper to mirror actual conditions. If in‑person is preferred, I’m happy to accommodate.
