Tutor’s Teaching Background

I started tutoring back in my polytechnic days for upper primary students in the mainstream education.

In the year of 2017, I joined the Education industry focusing on Special Needs students. My main group of students are Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and mild to severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

I have been teaching a diverse group of students who required personalized teaching and learning mode accordingly.

I attended various trainings to hone my skills and knowledge in the special needs education. I strongly believe that every student is able to learn when their needs are met. 

I acquired a Certificate in Autism in 2018 and currently is pursuing my Diploma In Special Needs Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE). This is to ensure that I have the relevant theory which I could then relay it to my teaching padagogy. I believe that with my years of experience in the special needs education, I am able to assist more students to realized their potential.
