I have given English tuition to primary and secondary school kids for over 4 years. During this time, I have had the experience of guiding my students through the challenges they face during their English papers/classes. I view our lessons together as a partnership - I am there to help them as much as they are there to help me improve their grasp of the language. Our lessons will mostly consist of guided walkthroughs of past exam papers and assessment books. I have also utilized newspaper articles / fictional passages as tools for reading and comprehension, which my students quite enjoy as it is different from writing essays. I enjoy teaching - it is something my dad, a JC physics lecturer, has passed down to me. It gives me great fulfillment to see my students improve and to see their parents beam with pride :)
