Understand plight of not being able to understand concepts as fast as others, so I will ensure my students understand in a much easier and clear manner. Am currently teaching a Primary 5 student mathematics as well. This is a WhatsApp message from her parents regarding feedback on my lessons. "She really enjoyed the lessons. She said your explanation was very clear and she can understand better." Her feedback has been positive as she has found the methods for approaching and understanding maths questions especially word problems especially useful and clear. I am able to identify the weak areas of the student and teach in a way that will ensure the student understands at their pace. I will use a system to ensure we cover every area of improvement for the student 1) To analyse the students capability of solving questions, see where they get stuck. What difficulties to they face (word problems, careless mistakes) 2)Create a approach, for example word problems are a problem for many students. Creating a system approach that the students can use to solve the problem everytime they face one will be especially helpful. My current student has given feedback that she is able to visualise and understand the question better with the approach I've taught her. It also covers the area of making careless mistakes. Will finally practice exam papers from different top schools. I will source n provide. But before attempting, have to ensure the students fundamentals and understanding of the topics are there I would like the client to know that I will ensure the child is comfortable to share with me any problems they face. I understand sometimes students may feel shy to ask questions or doubts to their teachers, I will remind my students to always rmbr to ask me any questions and clear any doubts. The important thing is that my student understands the topic, if that means I have to teach another method, I'll be prepared to do so Also, the student can ask their parents to WhatsApp me any time and free of charge regarding any hw they have or doubts, if they need call, it will be no problem. I will communicate after every lesson w the parents on how the progress of their child is going, and any thing the parents may need from me to specifically focus on, it will be no problem
