Currently studying for Degree in Business Analytics at NUS
I have taught 1 student last year for Combined Science (Physics and Chemistry). She has improved greatly from fail to grade 2 for her N level. She then she proceed to PFP (Poly Foundation Programme) route hence my tutor journey stop there.
She have given me positive feedback that I am very patient and understanding. And I explain things in the way they find it easy to understand.
For the first lesson, I will be discussing with the students/parents about their academic goals. Followed by looking through the past exam/ test papers or homework the students had done to understand where is their area of weakness, strength, etc. I am open to student’s questions via text outside of tutoring hours. Nearer to exam seasons, I could give more practice papers for practice and set aside more time for them. I can also prepare own materials such as worksheets and practice papers to enhance and maximise the student’s learning.
