Tutor’s Teaching Background

With 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in Primary & Secondary Mathematics and Secondary Chinese. I currently teach 2 Primary Math students, 1 Secondary 2 Math student and 1 Secondary Chinese student. One of my key achievements was helping a Lower Secondary Math student improve from C5 to A2 within 6 months. My teaching focuses on understanding concepts instead of memorising methods. I break difficult questions into simple steps and spend time practising until students are confident applying the concepts on their own. I also share my personal study notes and structured tuition centre notes and create notes together with my students for easier revision. Beyond grades, I focus on building confidence and a good relationship with my students. I believe students learn best when they are comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing an interest in the subject.
