Tutor’s Teaching Background

I specialise in math from Primary to Secondary! Am currently tutoring 3 P6 students on PSLE math at a primary school. Volunteered at Good Shepherd Student Care for half a year, once every week, where I tutored Primary School students on various subjects. Been helping my sister with her studies all along and contributed to her jump from NA to Express in Sec 2. Also been helping my brother with his mathematics and science subjects from upper primary to upper secondary. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin! I’m very patient and understanding, and personally learn things through understanding concepts, and hence I will be able to explain concepts well for students to absorb and learn effectively instead of plain memorising concepts, including through using analogies for better comprehension of the topic. If needed, I am willing to provide help for my students even after the tuition hours through text messages. I have a strong passion for teaching, and I’m really happy for my students when they are able to better their grades. Hence, I will always put it my utmost effort in helping my students achieve their desired results! I studied 9 subjects in Nan Hua High School, consisting of Pure Geography, Elective History, and 3 sciences. I then went on to Hwa Chong Institution for my JC.
