Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hello! I’m currently a second year student studying Business Administration at the National University of Singapore, and I’ve been volunteering as a tutor for about 6 months now. It’s been such a rewarding experience helping students achieve real improvements in their studies. For example, one of my students who was struggling with Mathematics managed to jump from a C to an A in just six months! I like to focus on understanding how each student learns best as I believe everyone’s different, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit their style. By personalising lesson plans and offering consistent support and encouragement, I try to make learning less stressful and even enjoyable. I’m patient and committed, and I believe in celebrating my students’ wins, no matter how big or small. Building their confidence is a big part of my approach, and I’m always happy to go the extra mile, whether it’s staying back a little longer to explain something tricky or answering their questions outside of lesson time. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, and it’s amazing to see my students grow and achieve their goals. I’d love the chance to help more students succeed!
