Tutor’s Teaching Background

Over the past 4 years, I have mentored 7 students from SJI International and other IB and IGCSE schools, specialising in Chemistry and Biology. My students have achieved significant improvements (often by 1–2 grades), while gaining stronger exam confidence and a clearer understanding of how to approach questions effectively.

I completed the IB Diploma in 2023, achieving high 7s in all HL and SL subjects, and have received offers from Imperial College London (Medicine), University of Manchester (Medicine), as well as NUS and NTU (with scholarship). This academic background allows me to provide precise exam strategies, syllabus-specific insights, and targeted past-paper practice that directly translate into higher exam performance.

I teach students from Grade 7 to Grade 12, and every lesson is fully tailored to the student’s needs. Lessons are structured, engaging, and results-oriented, and this is aided by carefully selected practice questions to reinforce understanding and retention.

Having once been an IGCSE and IB student myself, I bring proven techniques, insider exam strategies, and a patient, structured teaching approach to every lesson. With the right guidance, students are able to retain knowledge effectively, develop deep conceptual understanding, and become independent learners, rather than relying on short-term memorisation.
