Personal Teaching Experience: - Currently am teaching RJC students for their GP A Levels. I just my this year's students off to their A levels. I also sent two RJC students off to their A levels last year. We are doing online tuition. One of my RJC students initially had two GP tuitions (one being a tuition centre and the other me) and has since dropped her other tuition centre as she finds my teaching much more effective. - One of RJC students this year has consistently received a B and above for all his timed practices, and his prelims. - I have very, very detailed and comprehensive infopacks, exam strategies, worksheets, and instructive guides that will help you score in the exams and produce insightful answers that the examiners are looking for. - I give feedback so personalised and so detailed that students always ask me to review their school work (even though it has already been marked by school teachers) just so I can provide the in-depth feedback I do for ALL their assignments and work submitted to school. - The lessons will definitely seek to inspire the students and develop their confidence in themselves, so that they are motivated to take charge of their learning journey. - Have a good track record: in the span of just 1.5 months, one of my students saw a grade jump from S to C. - I always aim to develop a good relationship with the student such that they feel safe asking me absolutely anything at all, and can even consult me on Whatsapp for any questions they have beyond lesson timings! - Will definitely be able to commit all the way up to the student's A Levels, this is what I am doing with my ALL students and the previous batches that came as well. - My experience goes into teaching them specific examination frameworks, techniques, and worksheets, and not just 1 to 1 consultation style. Students WILL NOT need to purchase books or materials elsewhere. Personal Qualifications: - Have graduated NUS Law with Honours, and with an NUS Merit Law Scholarship with a concurrent Masters in Public Policy. I am currently working and undergoing training at a law firm and will be en route to becoming a practising lawyer after I soon finish training. - As I am a university graduate, and I have years of experience teaching GP students, my rates are as such. - Graduated from Raffles Junior College with an A in General Paper - Was from Raffles Girls Secondary and Raffles Junior College. Additional Notes: - Will only do online tuition due to the location, most of my materials uploaded to a shared google drive with take home assignments and practices, and that also I can be more flexible with my timings and it allow for me to provide additional free consultations for the student if the student needs. - This has worked well: nearing the A levels, I can extend lesson impromptu especially if there are weak areas that need to be addressed, or if the student has additional questions, etc. Have even extended lessons to 4h and 4.5h on some occasions. - Taught numerous students, some of them were tutored through circuit breaker till their O/N Levels, so online tuition sessions (video conferencing) has worked out very well too! - Timing is generally flexible, though Saturday and Sunday mornings are definitely free. - I personally guarantee the effectiveness of the tuition (even if done online) as I believe my teaching style and my notes are highly effective. Many of the students that initially wanted in-person tuition have all switched online. You can do a phone interview with me if you have any questions or concerns.
