Tutor’s Teaching Background

Excelling in Mathematics since Secondary School, I was selected by my school's mathematics department to participate in a pilot programme where senior students helped to tutor junior students areas such as mathematics and the sciences. During the programme, I would provide my student with dedicated 1-to-1 attention, while also providing assignments and guidance on understanding core concepts. Moreover, in Junior College, as part of the Executive Committee of the Interact Club, I helmed the e-Overseas Values in Action (eOVIA) project, where we would hold weekly video chats with students in China to aid their progress of learning the English language. This includes engaging in regular conversations, as well as providing reading passages. Apart from this programme, we had a few other tutoring programmes, including teaching students affiliated with the Church of St. Vincent de Paul via online tutoring sessions, as well as tutoring the less fortunate students of the Dover region in person.
