Tutor’s Teaching Background

1-1 teaching for 4+ years (currently tutoring a P4 English, P3 English and math, P6 English and math, and ITE in biz ops). Past tutored - total of 4 students - each students were tutored for a period of 2 years (ie, P5 to P6). Have only taught 1 student from sec sch (he was my p5 student and I taught him from then till sec1) I usually try to pick students that are struggling with the subjects. Mainly because I want to help students understand the subject their weak at and practice more so that they will do well in school exams. I have a sense of fulfilment whenever my students come and tell me that they are improving and starting to enjoy their weaker subjects in school.  My tutoring strategy mainly comprises of recap, relearn and applying of concepts to various questions. Some students will need some encouragements during practices, so giving them sufficient encouragements will also improve and increase their confidence.
