Over the past four years, I have taught phonics to three K1–K2 students by breaking down words into individual letter sounds and guiding them to blend the sounds back together. This step-by-step approach ensured a strong foundational understanding of phonics, tailored to each child’s learning pace and needs. I worked as a kumon teacher in melbourne, teaching math and English from kindergarten students to secondary 4. So for this period of time I worked following the kumon curriculum. I also took 2 O levels student for English literature and English as a first language. We went through a list of complex vocabulary, key themes for the books and discussing the relevance of quotes with the themes. Further, we worked on building their essays after breaking down all these key points to include. Currently have 3 grade 3 IB students for math and English, 2 Chinese p6 students, 1 sec 3 English All my p3 IB students pass the MAP test with 80% and above my Chinese students both score 90% and above on all quizzes and exams and my secondary 3 student is from when she was secondary 1 and has been progressing well with much improvement for each section each year
