Tutor’s Teaching Background

**Teaching Experience** I have been involved in education since 2009, beginning as a student tutor teaching Mathematics and Science to primary school students. Over the years, I developed a strong passion for helping children learn and grow, which led me to pursue a professional teaching career. I later trained at the National Institute of Education (NIE), specialising in Science education with a focus on students with special educational needs. This experience equipped me with the skills to adapt lessons to different learning abilities and create an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every child can succeed. My most recent tutoring role involved working with children under the Yellow Ribbon Project, where I provided academic support and encouragement to students from diverse backgrounds. This experience strengthened my ability to build positive relationships with students and tailor my teaching approaches to meet their individual needs. Since 2021, I have taken a career break to focus on raising my three young children. Motherhood has further deepened my understanding of children's developmental and learning needs, while reinforcing the importance of patience, empathy, and effective communication. Now that my children are attending school, I am excited to return to teaching and continue pursuing my passion for education. Science has always been my favourite subject, and I am eager to inspire Primary 3 students to develop curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning through engaging and meaningful science lessons.
