Tutor’s Teaching Background

Tutored friends in JC. I attained an A for A levels General Paper and studied H2 Literature and H2 Linguistics for A'levels - which I believe, has honed my locution, ability to write and think perceptively towards the worlds within words. As a GP tutor, I aim to equip students with the ability to think independently and critically by learning to question conventional wisdom. Additionally, I aim to facilitate thought-provoking discussions and expose my students to the ambiguities ever-prevalent in the world around us and in doing so, come to a deeper understanding of the issues that impact us indivually and collectively. This culminates in an ability to not only tackle any GP question put forth before my student, but to also carry a keen perceptiveness that will stay with my students beyond mandatory formal education - which I believe, is the ultimate goal of education - a goal that entails nurturing an inquisitiveness and sensitivity towards global affairs.
