Secondary School/ Junior College: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) University: Double Degree Programme in Engineering Science and Business Administration at the National University of Singapore, under the Engineering Scholars Programme (E-Scholars)
During Junior College, I volunteered as a pro bono tutor for underprivileged students at Zhenghua RC, providing mathematics and chemistry support to Secondary 1 and 2 students from 2020 to 2022. I also participated in my school’s peer mentoring programme, where I tutored a classmate in business management. Academically, I achieved grade 7 in Higher Level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the IB Examination, and I am confident teaching all three subjects. Most recently, I tutored an IB Year 2 student in SL Mathematics and HL Chemistry, helping them improve their grades from 3/4 to 6 in the final examination.

Extremely patient and understanding of a student's individual needs. He will take the time to explain and properly ensure the content is understood. Systematic teaching.He is able to teach beyond applying a method and has a deep and thorough understanding of the theory behind the content, i.e. how something works and why something works. Math grade increased from Grade 3 to high Grade 6 within less than a year. Lesson timing is extremely flexible. Able to respond to questions online quickly. Overall a very positive experience. Goes extra mile for student. Extends help beyond academics eg uni applications advice.Provide timely updates to parents.
