Economics: Hi, I am a graduate student from EJC. I took H2 and H3 Economics in JC. I got A in H2 Economics and I have never gotten anything below that in my entire 2 years of JC. I got a 90rp A levels, and I am now a prospective scholar in SMU. I attribute my success in economics to my understanding, I saw a lot of my friends study economics by memorising and spam writing full essays. However, that was not me, I focused on deep understanding of the concepts, and on question analysis to ensure that I provide relevant answers and that has always worked for me without having to overstudy the subject. I am now a full time tutor, with 2 private candidates under me taking H2 Economics. I provide them with notes and tutorials (optional) and I provide both full structured lesson style learning and also consultation style lessons. They have both seen massive improvements in economics, they are now able to study themselves in a purposeful manner without blindly memorising, and they revise by simply doing question plans. I can provide both online and F2F lessons depending on location and frequency, fees will vary accordingly. Math: I have been taking 3 students from S3-S4 (1 year with them) and they have all three seen massive improvements in their grasp of concepts with AE Maths. Their feedback is that as I teach them in a way where I do both teaching them before their school does and also circling back on what the school did not teach well, they feel like they already know what the school is going to teach, which makes them learn better when the school teaches them. Yet, they can take their time as if they are confused at anything, I can always come back to it. I can do F2F or Online, and I focus a lot more on understanding than spamming questions.
