Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have had experience teaching English at The Learning Lab. The Learning Lab is a market leader with an 18-year track record in Singapore's tuition industry.

During my time with The Learning Lab, I was assigned a portfolio of both primary school and secondary school (O-Level and Integrated Programme) English classes. Through this diverse portfolio, I have gained an understanding of the differences in assessment objectives at primary and secondary levels. This translates into my ability to adapt my techniques to the needs of students at their various educational stages.

To sum up my teaching approach in one sentence, I coach students to be exam-savvy for impending examinations, while cultivating their appreciation of the language to enable long-term growth as they ascend the educational ladder and beyond.
