Tutor’s Teaching Background

I�m a graduate from NUS in English Literature. I have 5 years of tutoring experiences, both paid and community tuition. I teach English, General Paper, Literature and History. I was top Humanities student in Secondary school and Junior College - top history, English, literature and social studies My methods differ based on the student but I can assure you that I will find what is best for the individual student. I always believe that no one is incapable of learning or understanding a certain subject, especially when it comes to languages, most of the time students are afraid to use the language so they do not use it. I have a decent track record, having helped multiple graduating students pass and do well (A and B grades) for GP, English, English Literature and Social Studies. I specialise in teaching graduating students as I believe I have the ability to push them toward achieving their potential. I enjoy teaching using sometimes unconventional methods to allow the students to access the subject better and I am a very motivating individual. My teaching experiences include JC2, Sec 1-2, Sec 4-5. My students just took N Level English and Social Studies this year. I am currently teaching 3 H2 English Literature students, and 2 H1GP Students.
