Tutor’s Teaching Background

7 years of experience teaching languages and humanities from primary school to JC levels. Relief teacher at Ngee Ann Secondary School between Jan and Aug 2016, teaching combined and pure history, and Chinese and Higher Chinese. NUS history degree (honours with distinction) with a minor in Chinese translation. Scholarship holder, topped the cohort a chinese module amongst tough competition against the PRCs when pursuing the minor in Chinese Translation. Teaching methodology: encouraging students to think about the topics on their own, stretching them on critical thinking while improving on the words and phrases. That said, materials will be provided if students prefer spoon-feeding :)
