1. I believe that I am the right tutor for your child because I am an experienced tutor, owing to my 3 years of teaching and mentoring experience. I am confident to help your child excel in his studies and I take pride in my job. I take teaching very, very seriously as I know that it will affect his/her future. I am not here solely for the money, and I am willing to teach overtime just so that your child understands the subject matter. 2. Furthermore, I provide my students with advice and mentoring, which makes it easy for them to connect with me. A good teacher-student connection makes it easier that your children can achieve better grades in their academic life. I am a visionary individual who has a clear view of what education should include in these modern times. Since I have extensive training as I graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU) with a 2nd upper honours degree, I am confident to use several resources to teach your child effectively. 3. To be honest, I am committed not only to the job but also to the overall essence of teaching. This should make it easy for you to decide that hiring me is the right decision on your part. For me, teaching does not only involve imparting education but focus more on developing students’ minds and making sure they grow to like the idea of learning new skills and knowledge. 4. I scored straight As for all my math subjects in primary, secondary and junior college. In my day-to-day job, it is my bread and butter to provide financial analysis and equity research of companies, having worked in Keppel Group and Temasek Holdings (both happens to investment arms of Singapore). Hence, I believe I am very mathematically inclinced and I am confident to impart my knowledge to your child.
