Tutor’s Teaching Background

Apart from assisting my cousins with their math homework, I've only had one formal teaching experience. Initially, teaching wasn't in my plans, but when a friend couldn't commit to tutoring, they introduced me to their student, and I ended up teaching him for a year. The student, a Secondary 2 level, saw significant improvement in math, going from a C5 to an A2 grade. For me, tutoring isn't just about imparting knowledge; it's about fostering a connection with the student, which enhances their receptiveness to learning. Despite having limited teaching experience, I was able to establish a strong rapport with my student, fostering a willingness to learn. This ability to connect with students is a valuable skill I possess. I am exclusively offering part-time math tutoring services. Mathematics has been a constant presence throughout my academic journey. During my time in both polytechnic and university, I undertook Business Statistics modules, which represent an advanced level of mathematical study. In both instances, I attained the highest grade of A+ (Distinction), and I even received recognition as the top performer in the module during my polytechnic studies.
